I spoke to mike regarding the recoring of a motorcycle radiator, this was outside there remit. However Mike went far and beyond to help with advice, suggestion for somebody else. Advise on my radiator which has lead me to knowing I do not need to replace it. He even called me back with details of one from eBay if chose that route.
I can't recommend enough. A big thank you Mike.
My Daf t244 was running warm on very hot days, i tried to back flush but no better. I pulled the rad and took it to Peter and Mike to look at, before i had even written my details down Mike had the bungs out and was getting ready to do a pressure test.
They called me that afternoon to say i would need a new core as mine was rotting and badly blocked, Price was good so had it rebuilt with a new core. About a week later i had a call telling me the rad was done. It was like new, Mike even went out of his way to remove two sheared bolts and put new ones in on the mounting side of the rad surround. Refitted the rad, run up the engine to temp no problems at all. New antifreeze the took the opportunity to replace some pipework.
Its was so nice to have my rad done by a very professional team. Great from start to finish. Very happy to recommend and I'm talking to then as i write this about a possible other job. Many thanks to Peter and Mike. They go the extra mile and all with a smile. (new advertising quote?)
To sum up.
